Steamed Catfish Ingredients
- Jungin Food Catfish for Steaming (500g)
- 4 tbsp red chili paste (gochujang)
- 3 tbsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp soybean paste (doenjang)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp soju
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- Soy sauce (to taste)
- Monosodium glutamate (MSG) or Dashida (optional)
- Radish
- Potato
- Dried radish greens (siraegi)
- Onion
- Green onion
- Crown daisy (ssukgat)
- Water parsley (minari)
- 1 Defrost the catfish until ready for cooking.
- 2 Slice the radish, potatoes, and dried radish greens, and place them at the bottom of a pot.
- 3 Put the catfish on top, add water and the prepared sauce, and boil over high heat for about 20 minutes.
- 4 Add the onion, green onion, crown daisy, and water parsley. Simmer until the vegetables are fully cooked.
