Terms of Use
Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms of Use is to stipulate the conditions and procedures for using the Internet services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") provided by {Site Name} (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator"), as well as other necessary matters.
Article 2 (Effectiveness of Terms)
- 1. These Terms shall become effective when they are posted on the {Domain Address} website or notified to members by email or other means.
- 2. The Operator may modify these Terms as necessary, and the modified Terms shall take effect from the time they are posted or notified as described in paragraph 1.
Article 3 (Matters Not Specified in Terms)
Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by relevant laws and regulations where applicable.
Article 4 (Definitions)
The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:
- 1. "Member" refers to a corporation or an internal user of a corporate member who has registered as a member in accordance with these Terms and received approval from the Operator to use the Services.
- 2. "Member ID" refers to a combination of letters and numbers designated by the member and approved by the Operator for member identification and use of the Services.
- 3. "Password" refers to a combination of letters and numbers selected by the member to protect personal information and confidentiality during communication.
Chapter 2 Service Use Agreement
Article 5 (Formation of Use Agreement)
A service use agreement is formed when the Operator reviews and approves the application submitted by a person wishing to use the Services.
Article 6 (Application for Use)
- 1. Applicants for service use shall, as a principle, truthfully complete and submit the information requested by the Operator.
- 2. Registration as a member is considered legally agreed to these Terms when the applicant reads the Terms and fills out the membership application form and clicks the "Agree" button.
Article 7 (Suspension of Acceptance of Application)
The Operator may restrict approval of an application and suspend acceptance until the reason is resolved in the following cases. In such instances, the Operator shall notify the applicant by email or other means. However, this does not apply if notification is impossible due to reasons not attributable to the Operator.
- ① Insufficient service-related capacity
- ② Technical obstacles
- ③ Other cases deemed necessary by the Operator
Article 8 (Refusal of Application)
The Operator shall not approve applications in the following cases:
- ① The applicant’s name is not real
- ② Application is made using another person’s name
- ③ False information is provided in the application form
- ④ The application is intended to disrupt public order or morality
Article 9 (Termination of Agreement)
- 1. A member wishing to terminate the service use agreement must submit a termination request to the Operator in advance via email, visit, phone, or fax.
- 2. The Operator may terminate the agreement without prior notice in the following cases:
- ① Damaging the Operator’s reputation
- ② Intentionally interfering with service operation
- ③ Unauthorized use of another member’s ID or password
- ④ Planning or executing actions that harm public morals or public interest
Chapter 3 Service Provision and Use
Article 10 (Change of Service Scope)
The Operator may add or modify the content of the Services as needed, and as a principle, the changes shall be notified in advance.
Article 11 (Service Use)
- 1. Service use is, as a principle, available year-round unless there are special business or technical obstacles.
- 2. However, the Operator may suspend the Services in cases such as system maintenance, backups, technical failures, excessive demand, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
Article 12 (Provision of Information and Advertisement)
The operator may restrict the consent of the application for use in the following cases, and may reserve the consent until the reason is resolved: In such cases, the operator shall notify the applicant of the application by e-mail, etc.: Provided, That the foregoing shall not apply where it is impossible to notify the applicant without reasons attributable to the operator.
- 1. The Operator may provide various information to members through the Services, including posting content on the Service. The Operator may also add or modify service content, and notification prior to such changes is the principle.
- 2. The Operator may display advertisements on the service interface, emails, or related channels.
Chapter 4 Rights and Obligations
Article 13 (Obligations of the Operator)
- 1. Except as specified in Article 11, the Operator shall make every effort to provide the Services continuously and stably according to these Terms.
- 2. The Operator shall maintain and repair service-related facilities to ensure continuous operation and promptly fix any issues.
- 3. The Operator shall promptly handle complaints related to the Services, and if immediate handling is difficult, notify the member of the reason and schedule via the Service or email.
Article 14 (Privacy Protection)
- 1. he Operator shall not disclose, publish, or distribute members’ personal information without prior consent, nor use it for commercial purposes unrelated to the Services, except in the following cases:
- ① Required by law enforcement for investigation purposes
- ② Requested by the Korea Communications Standards Commission
- ③ Other cases required by law
- 2. The Operator may compile statistical data regarding member personal information for service purposes or transmit cookies to members’ computers. Members may refuse or manage cookies through their browser settings.
Article 15 (Obligations of Members)
- 1. Members must comply with relevant laws, these Terms, notices, and guidance from the Operator and shall not interfere with the Operator’s business.
- 2. Members may not conduct any commercial activity using the Services without prior approval from the Operator.
- 3. Members may not copy, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, broadcast, or provide to others any information obtained through the Services without prior approval from the Operator.
- 4. Members must not engage in the following activities while using the Services:
- ① Unauthorized use of other members’ IDs
- ② Acts intended for criminal purposes or related to crimes
- ③ Acts that infringe social order or public morals
- ④ Defaming or insulting others
- ⑤ Infringing intellectual property rights of others
- ⑥ Hacking or spreading computer viruses
- ⑦ Continuously sending advertising information or other content without consent
- ⑧ Acts that may disrupt the safe operation of the Services
- ⑨ Other acts violating applicable laws
Article 16 (Deletion of Posts or Content)
The Operator may delete posts or content that violate Article 15 or exceed the prescribed posting period without prior notice or consent.
Article 17 (Rights and Responsibilities Regarding Posts)
- 1. Copyright of the content belongs to the member who posted it.
- 2. Any civil or criminal liability arising from a member’s post shall be borne by the member.
Article 18 (Prohibition of Transfer)
Members may not transfer, gift, or use as collateral their service usage rights or status under the use agreement.
Article 19 (Compensation for Damages)
The Operator shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members related to free Services, except in cases of gross negligence by the Operator.
Article 20 (Disclaimer and Indemnification)
- 1. The Operator is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of information or data posted by members, and members use the Services at their own risk. Any damages arising from the use, posting, or selection of materials are the responsibility of the member.
- 2. Members are solely responsible for damages caused by the mismanagement of their IDs and passwords or unauthorized use by third parties.
- 3. If a member’s violation of Article 15 or these Terms causes the Operator to incur liability to a third party or suffer damages, the violating member shall compensate the Operator for all damages and indemnify the Operator.
Article 21 (Dispute Resolution)
- 1. The Operator and members shall make every effort to amicably resolve disputes related to the Services.
- 2. Notwithstanding the above, if a lawsuit is filed regarding the dispute, it shall fall under the jurisdiction of the court where the Operator’s headquarters is located.
